How Does The SAZOBACT 3GM Work?

Cefoperazone is bactericidal and antibiotic in nature.

Sulbactum is a beta- lactamase inhibitor drug it functions by creating an irreversible inactivation of β-lactamases.

The combination drug has been potentially used to treat bacterial infections and conditions of infections.

SAZOBACT 3GM is useful in treatment, control and prevention of the diseases and conditions like:

• Meningitis
• Gynecological infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Respiratory tract infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Septicaemia
• Intra-abdominal infections
• Peritonitis
• Endometritis
• Surgical infections
• Pelvic inflammatory disease
• Cefoperazone Sulbactam Side Effects

In pre-existing medical conditions, allergy conditions or cases of an overdose the drug may cause side effects like:

• Rashes
• Fever
• Nausea, and Vomiting
• Haematological – Slight decreases in Hemoglobin concentration or Hematocrit value
• Skin reactions
• Diarrhoea or loose stools
• Eosinophilia
• Urticaria, and pruritus
• Increase in serum levels of SGOT, SGPT, and alkaline phosphatase concentrations
• Elevations in BUN and serum creatinine concentrations
• GIT problems

In cases of side effects, the person must immediately consult a medical practitioner or the concerned doctor.
